A man came home very late one night. He was clearly drunk and stumbling through the door. His wife was waiting for him and immediately asked, “Where have you been?”
The man, trying to sound impressive, answered, “I was at the Golden Bar! It’s the most amazing place. They have golden chairs, golden glasses, golden beer, and even a golden urinal!”
The wife found his story very suspicious. Why would a bar have golden everything, especially a golden urinal? Without saying anything, she picked up the phone and called the Golden Bar to check.
When the bartender answered, he said, “Yes, he’s here. In fact, he’s stuck in the golden urinal again.”
*Moral:* Sometimes people try to make their lies sound fancy, but one small detail gives them away.
