A husband and wife came up with a “code word” so their kid wouldn’t understand when they wanted some alone time They chose the word: “typewriter.”
One night, the husband told his 5-year-old daughter, “Go tell mommy that daddy needs to type a letter.”
She ran to her mom…
The mom replied,
“Tell your daddy he can’t right now… there’s a red ribbon in the typewriter.”
A few days later, the mom said, “Go tell daddy he can type that letter now.”
The little girl ran to her dad… then came back and said, “Daddy said never mind… he already wrote the letter by hand.”…
